Scripture: Colossians 3:1–4

1 “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.”
2 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.”
3 “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
4 “When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

Exposition:

• 1. “If then” (v.1) — a conditional clause that assumes the truth: “Since you have been raised…”
2. “Seek” (ζητεῖτε) — a continuous imperative; a lifestyle of pursuing the eternal.
3. “Set your mind” (v.2) — intentional mental focus; a spiritual discipline.
4. “Hidden with Christ” (v.3) — our new identity is secure, concealed from the world, but known in God.
5. “Christ…our life” (v.4) — He is not just in your life; He is your life.

Application:
Live from your position in Christ, not from earthly desires.
Develop a heavenly mindset, anticipating Christ’s return and glory.
